Beyonce releases seventh album, 'Renaissance'

Beyonce has released Renaissance her seventh studio album. It is a long-awaited and eagerly awaited. After Lemonade, her pivotal visual album, the 16-song LP is Beyonce's first solo album in six years.

Ann Powers and Sidney Madden, both from NPR Music, said that previews of Renaissance represent a musical evolution for the international superstar.

Renaissance includes guest features from Grace Jones, Tems and BEAM, as well as a variety of credits from heavy hitters in the music industry, including several from The-Dream,

Beyonce described Renaissance as "a three-year project that was recorded during the pandemic." It was a time to be still, but also the most creative," which is a sign that the new release is only the first of three parts.

The new album was leaked online two days before it was released. Some fans claimed that they had seen the CD in French and Dutch media shops early.
